Prints

If you get prints from me, I will color correct/enhance, sharpen, and custom crop images. I can also Photoshop out any port-o-potties that are in the background, unless you want it in there for some reason. I can put any text on it you want - event name, track, your name, whatever. If you want your team logo on the print, I can do that for an additional fee, which depends on how much work needs to be done. But it'll probably be a lot cheaper than having a real graphic artist do it. Unless, of course, you are a real graphic artist, in which case you'll probably want the digital image. Read on.

Prints can be will be mailed to you, or I'll bring them to the next race. Also, prints are guaranteed - if you get them mailed to you and you don't like them, or the postman left them on the porch in the rain, let me know and I'll refund your money or replace them. For the record, nobody's ever not liked them, but I'll offer that anyway. Also, an FYI about the sizes - the aspect ratio these pictures are shot with (3:2) means that to get the full, out of the camera look, you'd want an 8x12 or 12x18. However, for reasons which escape me, the framing industry is behind on the aspect ratio thing and it's hard to find frames in those sizes, whereas 8x10 and 11x14 frames are everywhere, including the grocery store.

Print prices:

8 x 10 or 8x12$12
11x14 or 12x18 $20
16x20 $30
20x30 $40
10 or more 8x10s are $10 each

Digital images

Full resolution images are 5184x3456 pixels and come with Limited Usage License Agreement (LULA). Basically, this is what you might have to produce if you take it to a lab to get printed to show that you're not printing someone else's copyrighted image (which all of these images are. Copyrighted, I mean.) One image is $15, two or more are $10 each. Half resolution (2600x1733) images are $5 each, and have a copyright watermark on the image. When you know the image(s) you want, email me with the image numbers (that's the number that displays when you mouse over the image, like _MG_9999. It's not the "1 of 147"). I will email you an invoice using PayPal. I can take credit cards, and you don't have to have a PayPal account. Once I get payment I'll email you the links to download the images via FTP within 24 hours. If you're technophobic or for some reason you'd rather not get the pictures quickly, I can put them on a CD or DVD and mail it, for an additional media and postage fee. Digital images are as-is, as in, no color correction, sharpening, or cropping, and they're in either Adobe RGB, sRGB, or ProPhoto color spaces, depending on what I shot that day. But -- I assume that when you buy the digital image that you know what you're doing when it comes to photo enhancing and printing.

Terms of use: I understand that by purchasing image files, the images cannot be sold, distributed, or used for advertising, editorial, multimedia, or any other use without the prior written permission. This agreement grants the purchaser single use, non-exclusive rights to use photos for personal purposes ONLY. If you violate the terms of this agreement, well, I don't know what I'll do really, but you won't like it, trust me. I have a lawyer who charges an exhorbitant hourly rate, so it would be pretty bad, for that kind of scratch.

Image prices:

1 image (5184x3456 pixels)$15
2-15 images $10 each image
16+ images email me
2600x1733 pixels $5 each

Yeah, but what can I get for FREE?

If you want an image for your website, Facebook, or whatever, I'll give you a 1500x1000 pixel version that has my copyright info on it, and maybe some fixing up because it's got my name on it.You have to promise you won't use it inappropriately, like on a porn site (unless it's tasteful porn, then it's OK). But be forewarned that paying customers are first in line, so if you really really want it, you'll probably get faster service if you pony up $5 for the half res image.

Also, remember that these images are all copyright protected, so if you pull it off of this site and use it without my © on it, if I find it I will ask you to remove it and I'll put your email address on every penis enhancing drug mailing list I can find.
